The diamonds that are most coveted around the world are actually colorless because these reflect more light and are less cloudy.       The Grading A diamond’s color is graded based on a scale running from D to Z. This is also called the GIA scale, where the rating D would mean that the stone in question is colorless and hence very valuable. Being said that, there are also colorless diamonds with E and F ratings. In the case of such stones, the naked eye is unable to see the color.   Further down the GIA scale, you have G through J diamonds, which also appear without any color to a person’s eyes, but show some faint hues when checked with precision instruments. If you are like most people who watch their budget, a near colorless diamond should be the best bet. Every time you take the diamond out, people would see nothing more than a sparkling stone, which would only reveal its color if they looked at it long and closely enough.
