Of the four factors,
the cut has the highest importance in deciding the price, as
the cut quality directly affects the amount of
diamond you get from the
diamond. Hence, it can be said that
the cut unveils the beauty of the finished
diamond by invoking shine out of the rough
diamond.
Color and Clarity
The next most crucial element of pricing is the
color. The pricing is determined according to the
color grade as it is clearly appealing to the eye. However,
clarity has the least importance in deciding the cost. This is because to detect the change in
clarity, one needs to view the
diamonds under at least 10x magnification.
Carat
Carat weight is another deciding factor in the price of a
diamond. However, a
diamond does not necessarily have to cost more just because it is heavier in
weight. The other influencing factors have to be equivalently superior too in order to bring a change in the pricing. After all, the price of the
diamond is a balanced figure of all the above factors.
