- If your fingers are long, you can go for a square or a round cut diamond that tends to make your long fingers appear shorter. Make sure you avoid pear or oval cut diamonds that make your fingers look even longer. For short fingers, choose an oval or pear stone with a halo. However, avoid choosing rectangular and round diamonds.
- If your fingers are narrow, choose thick band styles and small center diamonds with halo, but avoid wearing round stone and heart shape diamonds. Round diamonds with halo will look good on wide fingers while large marquise cut stones are ideal for wide and short fingers.
- For small hands, most diamond cut shapes are suitable as far as the centerpiece and the halo are relatively small. If you have larger hands, avoid rings having small stones; instead, choose the ones with larger chunky stones.
