The quality of a champagne
diamond depends upon
the 4 C’s just like in case of colorless
diamonds. You can take into account the following factors while purchasing champagne
diamond wedding rings. Of
the 4 C’s, choosing the carat is totally your choice.
Color
The
color of a champagne
diamond is assessed based on its hue, saturation, and tone. The hue is the visible color of the
stone and hue of a champagne
diamond is brown. Tone refers to the darkness of the
color and is lighter for champagnes compared to other
diamonds. Saturation is the level of intensity of the
color and a more valuable
stone will have a more intense
color.
Clarity
A champagne
diamond’s clarity is evaluated in the same way as done for other
diamonds; the lesser the
stone has flaws in it, the more valuable it will be. However, in the case of darker champagne
diamonds, the
clarity will not be an important factor because the flaws in the
stone will be well hidden due to the
color.
Cut
Another one of the factors to consider while purchasing champagne
diamond wedding rings is
the cut of the
stone. If the
diamond cut is more proportional, then the
brilliance of the
stone will be more, and hence, the
stone will be more expensive. However, the
brilliance will be less visible in the case of darker champagne
diamonds.
