Below are some setting types that you can try to design your diamond engagement rings.
Diamond Ring Settings
The most commonly used and types of designs are solitaire setting, pave setting, and side stone setting. Some other design types used in engagement diamond rings also include bezel setting, tension setting, and channel setting. These settings are ideal if you want a vintage or stylish touch in your diamond rings.
- Solitaire Setting – This is one of the most classical diamond ring options. Here, a solitaire diamond of decent size is set using a traditional four prong setting.
- Pave Setting – Here, melee diamonds or accent stones are paved all over the band of the ring. You can also give multiple layers of accent stones if you want more bling.
- Side Stone Setting – In this type of designs, the center diamond is flanked with two accent stones on either side. These will lift up the overall size as well as the sparkle of the ring.
