Diamond shoulder rings are a relatively new design among engagement rings. Normally, they are set with diamonds that do not exceed 1mm size, across both shoulders. Every one of these diamonds has 57 facets, in the way of all round brilliant cuts. The setting is of the stamped claw type, which greatly resembles the modern four claw settings in Tiffany style rings.
